Copy a LinkedIn job post to Coda, when I right-click
This is a Bardeen playbook. It's a pre-built automation template you can run in one-click to perform a repetitive task. Get started with our free Chrome extension.
How does this automation work?
Bardeen's playbook brings the power of automation to LinkedIn job posts, allowing users to instantly save them into a Coda document with a simple right-click. This feature is ideal for recruiters, HR professionals, and anyone who frequently sources job postings for data analysis, competitive research, or personal tracking. It simplifies the process of transferring job listings to a centralized database, making it easier to organize and manage potential opportunities.
Here's how you can automate the process of copying LinkedIn job posts to Coda:
- Step 1: Trigger on right-click - The workflow starts when you right-click on a LinkedIn job post. Bardeen is set up to scrape the necessary data from the page in the background.
- Step 2: Scrape LinkedIn job post data - Bardeen utilizes its integrated scraper to extract the job post details from LinkedIn without the need for complex coding or manual copying.
- Step 3: Add data to Coda - The extracted job post data is then automatically added to a Coda document and table of your choosing, which you specify at the start of the workflow.
How to run the playbook
Looking for jobs on LinkedIn can be super manual. If you want to save your favorite job posts, you’ll need to manually copy/paste all of the fields to Coda.
This automation allows you to save any LinkedIn job (from search) into a Coda database with a right click.
Right-click on a job post, and you will see the option to save it to your Coda.
