How does this automation work?
Bardeen's workflow automation allows users to easily transfer valuable data, such as LinkedIn company headcount, directly into Airtable. For businesses focused on sales prospecting and data sourcing research, having up-to-date information on potential clients is crucial. This particular workflow efficiently captures the headcount of companies from LinkedIn profiles and saves it in Airtable, enabling dynamic sales strategies and informed decision-making.
Here's how the workflow automates saving LinkedIn company headcount into Airtable:
- Step 1: Capture current LinkedIn page URL - This command grabs the URL of the LinkedIn company profile that is currently open in your browser.
- Step 2: Prepare the URL for scraping - The URL is formatted correctly to ensure the data can be scraped effectively from the LinkedIn company profile page.
- Step 3: Scrape LinkedIn company headcount - Using the Scraper tool, the workflow extracts the headcount data from the LinkedIn company profile in the background.
- Step 4: Split headcount data - The scraped headcount information is then split into a format that can be easily transferred to Airtable.
- Step 5: Select headcount number - From the split data, the specific number representing the company headcount is selected for inclusion in your Airtable base.
- Step 6: Add headcount to Airtable - Finally, the headcount data is added to a new row in your specified Airtable base, completing the workflow.
