This playbook automates the process of connecting with a list of LinkedIn profiles and collecting their basic information. Here is how this workflow works:
- Find all LinkedIn links: Bardeen extracts all the LinkedIn profile URLs from the list you provide. Make sure the links match the pattern https://www.linkedin.com/in/.
- Scrape LinkedIn profiles: Bardeen visits each LinkedIn profile in the background, using a scraper to extract basic information.
- Add data to Google Sheets: The scraped data is then added to a Google Sheets spreadsheet of your choice. Google Sheets is a powerful tool for organizing, analyzing, and sharing your data.

Note that according to LinkedIn "your LinkedIn account may be temporarily restricted from sending invitations to people for the following reasons:
- You've sent many invitations within a short amount of time.
- Many of your invitations have been ignored, left pending, or marked as spam by the recipients."
On the first item, this playbook is built so that your invitations are sent in a more "realistical" matter.
To avoid getting restricted, this playbook runs from your own browser (unlike other tools that run on bulk), it opens every page on the background, and has a 5 second delay when opening each link.

We don't advice using this playbook on large lists of unknown people.
LinkedIn can restrict your profile if you're a spammy person, so run it at your own risk.
That being said, if your list of profiles is properly filtered and your recipients are not total strangers, it's pretty safe to run it.
