- Step 2: Get Transcript URL - Using the video ID, Bardeen constructs the URL for the YouTube video's transcript page.
- Step 3: Scrape Transcript Data - The transcript data is then scraped from the generated URL using Bardeen's scraping capabilities.
- Step 4: Summarize Transcript - Bardeen prefaces the scraped transcript with a prompt and sends it to OpenAI to generate a summary of the video.
- Step 5: Convert Summary to Audio - The AI-generated summary is converted into an audio file, providing a convenient way to review video content without watching it.

Step 1: Pin the playbook
You will be redirected to install the browser extension when you run it for the first time.

Step 2: Run the playbook
Navigate to a YouTube video and press Option + B on your keyboard to launch Bardeen. Click on the playbook card. Run the playbook to get a summary of a YouTube video in audio format. It will use OpenAI to summarize the currently opened YouTube video and create an audio recording with the text.
The playbook will show you the result on the screen. You can download the audio recording or play it directly.
