How does this automation work?

With Bardeen, you can automate the process of copying data from Twitter profiles directly into your Notion database. This allows you to easily keep track of relevant Twitter profiles and their information without the need to manually copy and paste data. This can be particularly useful for social media managers, researchers, and anyone who needs to monitor and store social media data.

Here is how this workflow works:

  1. Scrape from Twitter: Using the Scraper integration, we visit the Twitter profile that you want to monitor. The Scraper is capable of extracting data from almost any website and sending it directly to your web apps. In this case, it has been configured to scrape data from the active tab using a specific scraper template for Twitter profiles.
  2. Create Notion Page: The extracted data is then added to a new page in your Notion database. Notion is an all-in-one workspace where you can write, plan, collaborate and organize - it essentially combines all your work tools in one place. You will need to specify the Notion database where the data will be stored.

How to run the workflow

If you want to store Twitter profile data reliably, look no further than Notion. By transferring Twitter profile data to a Notion database, you can organize and structure the data in a way that makes it easy to analyze.

This automation will help you avoid the copying and pasting process. It will copy Twitter profile data like handle, name, description, link to the profile number of followers, and following with one click.

You can then use Notion's powerful features to collaborate with others and customize the data to fit your needs.

Let's set it up!

Step 1: Create A Notion Database

The first step is to create a Notion database with the fields you want to store.

Bardeen will extract Twitter profile information like handle, name, description, link to the profile, and the number of followers and following.

Step 2: Run the playbook

Click the "Pin it" button at the top of this page to save this automation to your Playbook.

You will be redirected to download the browser extension when you run it for the first time. Bardeen will also prompt you to integrate Notion if you haven't done so already.

Activate Bardeen (press Option + B on Mac or Alt + B on a Window machine on your keyboard to launch Bardeen) and click to run the Playbook for any Twitter profile you want to save, and the setup flow will start.

You will be asked to specify your Notion database. After you choose the database, you will get a prompt to map the information to the fields in Notion.

The left side consists of all the fields Bardeen will scrape for you. On the right side, specify the fields in Notion that you want to associate with the information on the left. If you don’t want a piece of information, leave that field empty, and it will be skipped. That’s it!

Click on “Save Input” and checkmark Notion. You can edit Inputs later by hovering over the Playbook.
